Daniel Alonso brings over 25 years of professional experience in the telecommunications and ICT technologies domain. His expertise spans research, innovation, and industry engagement within regional and European technology innovation ecosystems. Daniel has actively participated in forums, discussions, and strategic activities, contributing significantly to Strategic Research and Innovation Agendas.
Since April 2023, Daniel has been serving as the Senior Technical Lead for Big Data and AI ecosystems at the Big Data Value Association (BDVA). His responsibilities include leading activities related to Data Spaces, Big Data Value technologies, and industrial AI. Additionally, he supports the development of strategic agendas, roadmaps, reports, architectures, frameworks, methodologies, standards, and paths for technology adoption, value creation, and market uptake. Daniel also engages with stakeholder networks at the International, European, National, and Regional levels.
