 iTechSylvania is renamed as iTech Transilvania Cluster. The activities of the cluster were diversified, adding to its portfolio support for innovation, internationalization services, technology transfer, matchmaking and other support services for its members.

iTechSylvania is founded by an agreement between 20 members: ARIES Transilvania, AROBS Transilvania Software, Art Program, Centrul de Informatică Minieră, Comknow, Fortech, G&C Investments, Informatica, Imprezzio Global, Recognos Romania, Ro et Co Internațional, Pitechapps, NET Brinel, Universitatea Tehnică din Cluj-Napoca, Universitatea Babeș-Bolyai, Inspectoratul Școlar Județean Cluj, Asociația de Dezvoltare Intercomunitară Zona Metropolitană Cluj, Asociația Centrul de Afaceri Transilvania, Primăria Cluj-Napoca
